For: Youth Pastors, youth workers, students, parents or anyone who has a heart for students in New England!
Dwight Bernier – Dwight became convinced God was calling him to plant a church in Montreal sometime in Bible college. God has ignited a passion for church in an extremely personal and Missional approach.
Mark Gedicks – Mark has been with Windham Baptist Church since 1996 and has been their lead pastor since 2005, setting a backdrop for his commitment to God’s people. He has been involved with The Calling since its inception and even is more fervent about his dedication to the Gospel and spread.
Bryan Page – Bryan is the Pastor of Momentum, the student community of Haverhill Alliance Church, Bryan is a passionate teacher, with the goal of advancing the Gospel and teaching teens to find their identity in the good news of Jesus Christ, instead of things that will ultimately let them down.
Josh Cousineau – Newly titled Pastor of Redemption Hill Community Church, Josh was the driving force behind the initial Calling conference, intended as a leadership training for the leaders and students of his former ministry at East Auburn Baptist Church. With the Spirit’s leading and Josh’s administrative skills, his hope is that Jesus would be glorified by a unified New England Church.
Carla Bombara -After being committed one year at Restoration Church in Barrington, NH, Carla has now since left and began traveling as full time as possible as a worship leader; helping churches out and ministering on Sunday mornings and select events for worship and creative arts – all throughout the New England area. Carla’s desire to see people’s lives changed by the love of God is what fuels her ministry and has also given her wonderful opportunity to meet new people and sing this truth over their lives. Aside from music and the creative arts, Carla is a full time Special Education Instructor in Lexington, MA and works one on one with children with autism. Ultimately, her desire in life is to work closely with and see lives changed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ – whether in or outside the church.
Phil Lowther - Phil serves as a youth leader for King of Grace Church in Haverhill, MA, a Sovereign Grace church plant. With a passion for teens and their families, Phil loves to work side by side with families in promoting gospel ministry inside the family unit.
Andy Geffers- Andy has been involved in youth ministry for over 18 years. He is currently Pastor of Student Ministries at Church of Emmanuel in Foxboro, Massachusetts where he has been serving for over 11 years. He is a graduate of Nyack College and has a Masters Degree in Public Administration from John Jay College, NYC. Andy has been happily married to his wife Holly for 25 years and has two children, Andrew and Elizabeth. They enjoy vacationing, biking, playing football games in the living room and of course watching the Patriots, Bruins, Celtics and Sox! Andy is a leader whose desire is to be used by God to influence others to Love Jesus, Live Jesus and Lead for Jesus. He also has a passion for helping youth ministries and leaders excel and take the leap to the next level of effectiveness. He has been a seminar leader at conferences, has helped author a book on youth ministry and has spoken at local churches. Andy loves books, spending time with his family and hanging with teenagers at local restaurants and school events but his greatest joy comes from watching teens being transformed by the love of Jesus.
Andy Bauer - Andy loves Jesus and believes the best way to show that is to look after His people, specifically those in need. He is currently the youth pastor at Hope Community Church and before working at Hope he started a video production company, PRAZ Media that had a goal to create awareness about the injustices around the world through video. He has Filmed in Ethiopia, Kenya, Guatemala, and all over the country. Andy was the vice President of “Kupenda for the Children” for 8 years, an organization that works with children with disabilities in Kenya, meeting their physical and spiritual needs. He is currently on the Kupenda advisory team. He has worked with the mission organization “World Servants” in leading their mission projects in the Dominican Republic, Jamacia, and New Orleans, an organization that specializes in leading short term mission trips for youth and churches around the world. In addition to working with Kupenda and World Servants, Andy has led over 20 short term mission trips with churches, colleges, and youth groups to Africa, Central America, Mexico, and in the United States.
